My ceramic work is the outcome of continual experimentation, curiosity, learning, and a desire to reflect the natural world in simple forms that we use in our daily lives. Enhancing everyday tasks and bringing meaning to the mundane offers an opportunity to connect us to moments we’d typically let pass by. And there’s just something about taking a lump of dirt, forming it, firing it, and then ladling some soup in it, that feels so satisfying to me.
